What does it assess? Reading accuracy, reading behaviour and reading comprehension. It may also be used as a measure of silent reading comprehension and listening comprehension.
Purpose Works in determining a reading comprehension level and as a controlled in-depth interview to achieve a greater understanding as to how readers engage with text and what specific teaching is required.
